The starting point
Herringbone doubles the cutting and leaves nowhere to hide: in a room wrapped in glass with water views, any drift in the pattern would show from every angle.
What went down
The pattern was set out from the room's main sightline and laid through the living and kitchen areas, running clean beneath the island bench and up to the glass.
